Phoenix Eye Films is proud to announce that the Echo 8 Trilogy has been awarded funding from Bankstown City Council’s Community Grants and Event Sponsorship Program. This significant endorsement enables the Echo 8 Trilogy to bring its acclaimed Story to Screen Series to the Bankstown Canterbury Local Government Area (LGA).
The initiative will feature four tailored workshops, set to take place at the Bankstown Arts Centre, First Nations Hub, and Humanity Matters, offering an immersive experience to the local community.
Elizabeth H. Vu, who is leading the screenwriting workshop, says:“With these workshops, we hope to ignite a creative spark in the next generation of writers and filmmakers, empowering them to craft compelling narratives and translate them into captivating visual stories.”
Maria Tran, the visionary behind the Echo 8 Trilogy, expressed her enthusiasm for the project:“It’s been an eye-opener to see how much local talent, businesses, and organizations go unrecognized for the hard work they’ve put in to build what Liverpool is today. I believe this community development project will be an innovative way to tie in a local movie that is anticipated to go international in 2026.”
